Well, this week has been one for the record books. Between two midterms (the essay-style that took me 4.5 hours while sitting at a Starbucks in SC and the multiple-choice research beast that took me 2 hours), the news of James and my excruciating sciatic nerve pain, I am physically, mentally and emotionally drained. However, I have never felt as loved as I did this week. So if you were praying for me, sending me emails or texts, thanks! (Oh, and I made A’s on both of those midterms. What, what.)

I won’t go on and on about the nerve pain, but it’s ridiculous. Debilitating. The kind of pain that makes me understand why people waddle during pregnancy, schedule inductions for the day they turn 39 weeks and makes me want to petition every single store for “Expectant Mother” parking right up there next to the handicap people. Geez.

We had a great time in Charleston. We went without an agenda and it was awesome. We basically woke up every day and decided on the fly what we would be doing. Thursday was the USS Yorktown in Mt. Pleasant, the open-air markets and Battery Park in Charleston. Friday was my midterm in the morning, lunch at Slightly North of Broad (yum-oh!) and Boone Hall Plantation. We also spent some time on the beach and found a fun little dive to eat dinner. Saturday, we slept in and then went to Ft. Sumter, came back for a nap and then found a bar to watch the Aggies (barely) beat the hell outta Louisiana State. Pictures below!

I had a doctor's appointment today...didn't gain weight the last 3 weeks so the ultrasound I wanted her to sneak in just became "earned" on my part.  I'm not sure how that's possible, because I'm definitely bigger than I was.  Hopefully Jack is gaining and momma was just spared?!  I don't know.  Either way, my blood pressure is still great, lab work from last time came back normal, his heartbeat is perfect and I go back in two weeks for the ultrasound and a doc's appointment.  Can't wait to see that sweet face :)
